Seller checks · free tool

Yupoo hosts photographs. It does not sell anything.

No cart, no ratings, no dispute system — so an album link tells you nothing on its own. Here is what to check instead, and why a supposedly dead album usually is not.

TL;DR

Yupoo is a photo host. There is no cart, no checkout, no search worth using and no ratings — an album is a supplier's catalogue, nothing more. That means an album link on its own tells you nothing about whether the seller is any good, and it means nobody can sell you a password, because there is no universal password to sell. Below: how to read any album you are sent, plus the 29 we have opened ourselves.

Read a Yupoo address

Albums arrive in two different URL shapes for the same account, which is why one link works and another looks dead. Paste any Yupoo address to see which form it is and get the other.

What Yupoo is, and what it is not

Yupoo is a Chinese image-hosting service. Suppliers use it as a shop window because it is free, it handles large volumes of photographs, and it requires nothing of them. That is the whole of it.

What follows from that catches out nearly every first-time visitor. There is no shopping cart. There is no checkout. There is no buyer protection, no order history, no rating system and no dispute process, because Yupoo is not a marketplace and has never claimed to be. Browsing an album is browsing a photo gallery that happens to be full of products.

So how do you buy? Two routes only. Either the supplier gives you a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 link for the item, which you run through the link converter and order through an agent — or you message the supplier directly and arrange it as a private transaction. Nothing happens on Yupoo itself.

Why an album looks dead when it is not

This is the most common false alarm, and the cause is not obvious.

Many Yupoo suppliers filter traffic by referrer — the header your browser sends saying which page you clicked from. Arriving from a site the supplier has not whitelisted can return an empty album or a block page, while the identical URL pasted straight into the address bar loads normally. Nothing is wrong with the album; the supplier simply does not want traffic from wherever you came from.

Two practical consequences. First, if an album looks empty, copy the address and open it in a fresh tab before concluding anything. Second, this is why every outbound album link on this site carries referrerpolicy="no-referrer" — we strip the header rather than announce where you came from, because announcing it is what gets buyers blocked.

The second false alarm is the two URL forms. seller.x.yupoo.com and x.yupoo.com/photos/seller are the same account. Caching and redirects mean one occasionally resolves when the other does not. The tool above converts between them.

Nobody can sell you a password

Suppliers sometimes lock an album, usually to keep it for existing customers. When that happens there is one way in: that specific supplier gives you access.

There is no master password, no shared list, no "Yupoo premium" tier. Anyone offering to sell you access to locked albums in general is selling something that does not exist. This turns up often enough in Discord DMs to be worth stating plainly.

Related warning: a Yupoo album is trivially easy to create and costs nothing. A scammer can copy another supplier's photographs into a new album in an afternoon. The album existing proves nothing at all about who is behind it — which is exactly why the checks below are about the person, not the pictures.

How to check a seller you were just sent

You will mostly be handed album links with no context — a name in a Discord message, a link in a spreadsheet row. Yupoo gives you no signals to work with, so the checks have to come from outside it.

1. Find the name discussed somewhere with a history

Search the seller's name alongside the community that would know — the rep subreddits, the Discord servers, QC threads. What you are looking for is not praise, which is easy to manufacture, but duration: a name that people were discussing two years ago and are still discussing now. Scam accounts do not have a past.

2. Look for QC photos, not catalogue photos

Catalogue images in an album are supplied by whoever built the album, and are frequently the retail product. Photographs posted by buyers who received an item are the real signal, and they live in community threads rather than in the album.

3. Message before you commit

Ask something specific and answerable — whether a particular model comes in a particular size, what the price is including domestic shipping to an agent's warehouse. A supplier running a real operation answers precisely. Vague answers, pressure to pay quickly, or a request to move to an unusual payment method are all the same signal.

4. Prefer the agent route on a first order

If the supplier can give you a Taobao or Weidian link, ordering through an agent puts a QC inspection stage between you and the item, and a party with a reputation between you and the money. Paying a supplier directly for a first order removes both protections at once. Once you have dealt with someone several times that calculus changes; on order one it does not.

5. Start small

One item. The cost of finding out a supplier is unreliable should be the price of one item plus freight, not a haul.

The 29 albums we have opened ourselves

These are on the catalogue page, grouped by what they actually stock. They are listed because we have opened them, not because anyone paid for placement — and if one goes dark or turns private, it comes off the list and the count on this page changes with it.

29 supplier catalogues across 9 categories, verified reachable at publication.

What this list is not is a directory of every Yupoo seller people search for. Names circulate constantly — some are long-running suppliers, some are a month old, some are the same operation under a new album. We are not going to publish entries for sellers we have not opened, because a directory with unverified rows in it is worse than a shorter honest one, and you would have no way of telling which rows were which.

If you want a specific seller checked: send us the album on WhatsApp or Telegram. We will open it and tell you what we see — what it stocks, whether it is reachable, whether the photographs look like a real inventory or a copied one. That is a real answer about a specific album rather than a guess published as a listing.

From album to parcel

  1. Find the item and screenshot it, including any product code visible in the photograph. Codes beat descriptions when you are asking a supplier to identify something.
  2. Ask for a link. Many suppliers will give you the Taobao or Weidian listing directly.
  3. Convert it with the link converter and order through an agent.
  4. Send your foot measurement in millimetres rather than a size — see the size converter.
  5. Work the QC photos against the 12-point checklist before approving.
  6. Consolidate, then check the parcel through the shipping calculator before paying freight.

If the supplier will not provide a marketplace link and only takes direct payment, that is a legitimate way to trade — plenty of good suppliers work that way — but understand you are giving up the QC stage and the agent's dispute leverage. Weigh that against how well you know them.

How much a Yupoo album on its own actually tells you
🥇
Album plus a marketplace linkStrongest position. The item can go through an agent, so you keep a QC stage and never pay the supplier directly.
🥈
Album plus a name with historyThe name has been discussed in the community over a period of time, not just recently. Duration is the signal; praise is not.
🥉
Album alone, no contextNeutral. Yupoo has no ratings, no transaction history and no disputes, so the link itself is evidence of nothing. Start small or check first.
#4
Album behind a passwordNot a red flag by itself — suppliers lock albums for existing customers. But you need that specific supplier to let you in.
#5
Someone selling you accessWalk away. There is no universal password and no premium tier. They are charging for something that does not exist.

An album costs nothing to create and photographs are trivially copied, so the pictures prove nothing about who is behind them. Every useful check comes from outside Yupoo.

Questions people actually ask

Can I buy directly on Yupoo?

No. Yupoo is an image host with no cart, no checkout and no payment system. You buy either by taking a marketplace link from the supplier to a buying agent, or by arranging a private transaction with the supplier.

Is there a password for locked Yupoo albums?

No universal one exists. A locked album is locked by that specific supplier and only they can grant access. Anyone selling passwords or 'premium Yupoo access' is selling something that does not exist.

Why does a Yupoo album show up empty for me?

Usually referrer filtering — some suppliers block traffic arriving from sites they have not whitelisted. Copy the address into a fresh tab before assuming the album is dead. Also try the other URL form, since seller.x.yupoo.com and x.yupoo.com/photos/seller are the same account.

How do I know if a Yupoo seller is legit?

Yupoo itself gives you nothing to judge — no ratings, no history, no disputes. Check whether the name has been discussed in the community over a period of time rather than recently, look for buyer QC photos rather than catalogue images, message with a specific question, and put a first order through an agent so you keep a QC stage.

Do you have a directory of every Yupoo seller?

No, and deliberately. We list the 29 albums we have opened ourselves. Publishing entries for sellers we have not checked would give you no way to tell verified rows from guesses. Send us a specific album and we will open it and tell you what we find.
